A great alternative option is Gwangalli Beach, which is a great beach in its own right and only a short walk to Haeundae Beach. From these beaches you can easily access the attractions on the eastern side of Busan. Both of these beaches can be very busy all year around with the attractions and various events which are held.
For foodies and market lovers, another great option is to stay in the old Busan downtown market area so you can shop until you drop right from your doorstep – and this location also provides faster access to the western attractions of Busan.

Where to Stay at Songdo Beach
Songdo Beach was the first public beach in South Korea which opened in 1913, and is located a 35 minute bus trip south west from Busan Station. Along with swimming during the season, Songdo has many other great activities to explore, including the Songdo Skywalk and Busan Air Cruise Cable Car overhead, which travels from Songnim Park and Amnam Park, where you can enjoy the coastal walk.
